Thoughts on Sarah Palin from a Biblical Perspective

I personally am not sure of all this because things are not always what they seem. The feeling is that because this woman is Christian and Pro-life that she should be a great candidate for VP.  We have CWA Concerned Women for America supporting her when they are against feminism, isn’t that a concern? She left her three day old baby to go back to work when the average woman spends 6 weeks at home. I think we need to be discerning and watch and see what is going on here. All of us need to be aware that God is in control of everything…..This is more an issue of understanding it is very dangerous to put a woman in the possibility of President of these United States …..Isaiah 3:12 says this “As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.”

Hypocritically Speaking

Should Christians Support a Woman for Vice President♦

All this is doing is dividing the evangelical groups even more. This discussion almost takes our eyes off what is going on in the world. The best thing we can do as women is pray for our children and ourselves to have courage for what is truly coming. We need to know that God is in control but we need to keep our eyes focused on the big picture, not the battle of the media that will take our eyes off of what is really going on. Either way, McCain or Obama, we are up for some difficult times. For a woman to rule, not matter what her background presents a problem and McCain a possible draft is in the future. With Obama, socialism to communism. We as moms need to pray more and more for our country.

Strike a Pose for Modesty and Virtue

CARY, N.C. — Imagine a home with a teenage girl where the most contentious argument over clothes involves whether it’s OK for the lace on a camisole to peek through the top or bottom of a shirt.

Catholic Church in Africa, Philippines and Mexico Address Immodesty in the face of Fierce Opposition

By Tim Waggoner

ABUJA, Nigeria, August 22, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Despite defiant and scantily clad opposition, Nigerian, Filipino and Mexican Catholic Church officials are taking steps to quell the growing trend of immodesty that is becoming prevalent among Catholics.

After Mexican priest, Rev. Sergio Roman, said in an online publication, “When we show our body without prudence, without modesty, we are prostituting ourselves,” a group of women dressed in miniskirts and tank talks protested outside the Mexico City Cathedral holding signs that read “Clothed and naked, I am the same.”     http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2008/aug/08082202.html
